So many exciting things to share! OMG! I am so incredibly happy.
First, I left my husband! Wow, eh? I can’t tell you how much relief and joy I am feeling. It took me leaving about 10 times to get the courage to leave for good. I am now in a tiny basement suite that I just love. It is so expensive but I just do not care. I feel free. I wish I could tell you all in words how happy I am!
Also, a few weeks back I fulfilled one of my dreams, I am now an End of Life Doula. Oh, yes I am! I feel so honoured and blessed. Medically Assisted Dying (MAID) is legal in Canada and people who chose this option are often overwhelmed and scared. No, I am NOT the one giving the injection! I will be doing palliative care and referring the patient to the proper resources like Hospice, death planning, living wills, etc. Not sue when I am going to open my business.
I love, love, love my new job! I now work full time and was given a raise. I work with great people and love the work. It is busy and challenging but no stress like my last job. I also do not have to be up at 6:00 and spend the day driving in my car.
You guys, the depression is totally gone. I wake up and can’t wait to see what the day holds. I go to bed happy and content. My heart is so full.
Here are pictures of my place. Isn’t it cute?

This is the kitchen and living area.

The little hall to the bedroom.
The bedroom.

And Norbert of course! I could not leave him behind!
Almost everything was donated to me by the people at Unity, where I go to church. All I had was my bed and clothing.
Anyway, I am going to go have a bath then go to bed. I have really missed you guys!
This Birdie is finally soaring! It is a sweet life.
